Folkington was founded in 2012 by our MD, Paul Bendit, after 12 years of developing premium and innovative soft drinks for food service leaders and independent brands. The ambition in creating the Folkington brand was to replicate the authenticity and provenance behind fine wines (“terroir”) in a range of fruit juices and soft drinks.
Each year, therefore, each Folkington product is produced from the same fruit varieties from the same farmers or agricultural cooperatives. This not only delivers consistent taste and quality to our products, but also helps provide a sustainable income that is paid off in the communities where the fruit comes from. This is our DNA
And to keep our “food miles” low, we get as much as possible from British farms, including all of our apples, pears, rhubarb, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cucumbers, mint and rosemary, while our elderflowers grow wild. throughout the English countryside. Our oranges and tomatoes grow in Spain, our lemons in Sicily, our cranberries in Canada, our ginger in Africa and our mangoes in Colombia.
